CREATE THE WORLD AND SEEDS OF YOUR STORY TOGETHER.

Arium: Create contains our refreshing and intuitive system for creating your own Arium (an overarching world, universe, setting, and adventure seeds containing fascinating landmarks, people, and items), and you’ll do it in an hour or two! The Arium you create will be unique to your group, and we promise everyone will be in love.
 
Create encourages folks to err on the side of awesome when collaborating to build their Arium, and the result is often surprising, but never disappointing! With a little work, you can take your resulting Arium and use it with any game system, or we’ve built in a seamless transition to our roleplaying rules found in Arium: Discover.

Arium: Create is all about creating a world your entire group will love using a series of seven steps: Lacunae, Universal, Big Picture, Culture & Organizations, Landmarks, People, and Goodies. These are the essential elements of your Arium.

There are three phases to each step:

1. Generate ideas. Fast! With a timer. This ensures the ideas aren't TOO perfect, and keeps the session flowing.

2. The group reviews the ideas and combines them for one of two reasons. The first is when the concepts are samey, and the second, when a combination is fantastic and the creators agree their ideas should live or die together in the name of awesome.

3. Finally, the group brings democracy to bear and votes for their favorite ideas. In this way, the best ideas remain part of the Arium and live on to be canon for future steps! 

If your favorite idea didn't make the cut, no problem! Each player receives three creation tokens they can use to make sure their chosen concept becomes part of the final Arium.
